Our Overall Philosophy

The Delaware North group of companies shares a common vision and mission:

These words were chosen very carefully. Any line of business we choose to be in, we plan to become the preferred provider. The vision is also forward-looking and customer-focused. It says we want to foresee and satisfy the needs of our customers.

Our vision statement highlights the importance of financial performance to us. The vision statement says we will do all these great things while balancing the highest level of satisfaction consistent with maximizing returns to stakeholders. Note that we say 'stakeholders' and not 'shareholders'. Many people have a stake in the health and well-being of Delaware North Companies, and we recognize that in every business venture we pursue.

Our mission: Through our valued associates, we will accomplish our vision by foreseeing and exceeding customer and client expectations, leveraging our unique perspective and experience gained over nearly a century, and using our core competencies revolving around customer service and prudent management.

We will foster our culture of integrity, efficiency and adaptability.

We will look for opportunities that meet our parameters for returns and stability, and will use the synergy among our business units to explore and capitalize on new possibilities.
